Johnny Manziel will throw at his own pro day on March 27

Johnny Manziel didn’t put his arm on display for teams at the NFL Scouting Combine and won’t do it at Texas A&M’s pro day on March 5. Instead, he will do so on his own pro day on March 27.

Manziel’s decision to not throw at the combine is not uncommon — other high-profile quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL Draft class didn’t throw either (Louisville’s Teddy Bridgewater and Fresno State’s Derek Carr sat out, too). However, to host his own pro day is a bit unique.
