Social (Fantasy) Network: M.A.S.H Units

The best laid schemes of mice and men often go awry. That never made a lot of sense to me. Do mice really plan things? I mean, aside from this mouse — he was always planning something, generally to good effect. But most mice I’ve encountered seem to work on the spur of the moment. It usually doesn’t work out too well.

But I digress.

We all entered this season with high hopes and good intentions. But for some of us, things have gone sideways. The injury bug hits most of us during the season, some of us get bit worse than others. For instance, NFL Fantasy LIVE’s Elliot Harrison has found that his team in the Experts’ League is the injured reserve list personified. Of course, he’s not alone. So this week, the Social (Fantasy) Network wanted to know which of you out there are dealing with injuries and how are you handling it?

First there’s the recognition of what’s going on.

Then there’s the emotional response.

Plenty of bargaining is sure to come not long after.

Followed by desperate scrambling.

Finally comes acceptance.

Then again, there are plenty of ways to salve that wound. If you have a new one, let us know in the comments section. In the meantime, keep a look out for next week’s #SocialFantasy question. Happy Week 7 everybody!
