Monday Nightmare: Even Peyton Manning can’t help

Peyton Manning is probably the most automatic player in fantasy football right now. Probably. I should change that to just automatic. But here’s the thing, if you had him on Monday night, and let’s say you needed 28.86 points, you had to feel pretty good. And if you have Montee Ball to boot, there’s no way you could lose, right?

Well that’s how our sound tech Sara felt headed into the game. She had Manning and Ball ready to go, and with only the Raiders in front of her, this could have been wrapped up by the end of the first half.

But if this is featured in the “Monday Nightmare” there is no way this could have a positive ending, no?

Wait, that’s not true. I’m offended you think that I can’t share some positive stories here. Well I will tell you Manning and Ball did get over that 28.86-point hump. The only problem is, Ball fumbled and took the total below that number. How low? Try .1 points.

Oh man, that’s the epitome of the “Monday Nightmare.” Well don’t fret, Sara. You could always get a stat correction. But until that happens, feel free to share with those other unfortunate souls who lost in disappointing fashion on Monday night. Consider this one big fantasy therapy couch. Share your tales. You’ll feel better if you do.
