Turner expects big workload for Richardson: The Trent Richardson fantasy breakout train is leaving the station and is only picking up steam after offensive coordinator Norv Turner suggested his second-year back could have 300 carries. Last season, five different backs garnered 300 or more rushing attempts during the seasons and all five gained at least 1,400 yards and 11 touchdowns. If that trend holds with Richardson, he’s squarely in the realm of top 10 fantasy backs and could knock on the door of being a top five fantasy rusher. Get on board!
Vick adds more muscle: This offseason has been full of new discoveries for Michael Vick. The veteran quarterback admitted that he finally learned the proper way to run with the football. Now he is proudly telling anyone who will listen that he’s added four pounds of muscle. The idea is to help the oft-injured quarterback to stay on the field. The other thing that would help him stay on the field would be to not take so many big hits. Either way, if he doesn’t win Philly’s quarterback competition, it’s a moot point.
Bradshaw placed on PUP list: Indianapolis Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw will be given a little extra time to recover from a foot injury after news that he’s been placed on the physically unable to perform list. Right now, it’s unknown when the veteran will be available to practice. But once he’s on the field, expect him to be just ahead of Vick Ballard in Indy’s running back pecking order.
