The “Fonz” in Happy Days. The “Avengers” movie. Mariano Rivera coming out of the bullpen in the ninth inning to Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” The Ladder Match between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon in Wrestlemania X. These are some of the things that are pretty cool to me.
Now I’m adding another thing to the list – NFL.com’s brand-new feature, Fantasy Genius.
Fantasy Genius is a new online fantasy football community where your questions are seen by millions upon millions of people from across the country and around the world. Do you have a question about who to start and who to sit? Are you on the fence about adding and dropping players, or do you just want to have your team rated after an NFL.com draft?
You can do all of that and much more, including posting your own personal player rankings and comparing your team to your opponent(s) to see who has the better roster. More importantly, you can meet other fantasy football enthusiasts who share the same players and build a network of friends who can help make the the most educated fantasy decisions week in and week out.
@Michael_Fabiano That may be the single, greatest addition to fantasy football since real-time scoring. Kudos to NFL fantasy. Brilliant!

These features alone would be enough to make Fantasy Genius one of the most fun, interactive and useful tools in the fantasy sports industry, but I’m not done just yet – not even close.
In my 15 years in the business, I can’t tell you how many people have told me they would love to do what I do. Well, now you can. If you think you have what it takes to be a fantasy football expert – and I’m sure a lot of you do – you can answer questions posted on Fantasy Genius.
What’s more, you are also able to share your own expertise by voting on other people’s personal questions, rating different fantasy teams, and offering advice on any and all aspects of fantasy football. You’ll even be assigned a “Genius Score” to reflect the quality of your advice!
If this isn’t enough to make you rush to sign up for Fantasy Genius – go ahead, I won’t take offense if you sign up and forget to finish this blog – how about these other features:
- Set up a profile that allows you to easily track all of your fantasy questions and check the results.
- Select how often you want e-mail updates and review the answers to your questions in your inbox.
- Gain perspectives from fans nationwide and meet unknown fantasy experts who can help you win a title.
- Discuss Tony Romo with Cowboys fans in Dallas and debate the value of Matt Ryan with fans in Atlanta.
So there you have it – when the team of experts at NFL Fantasy LIVE isn’t able to answer your questions, turn to the Fantasy Genius and gauge the opinions of millions of fantasy fans!
