Eleven players take part in Alabama’s pro day

Alabama had its pro day on April 11. Workouts were held indoors on FieldTurf. Eleven players from Alabama participated.

D.J. Fluker, OT (6-foot-5, 337 pounds) — Fluker had a 27 1/2-inch vertical, and a 5.00-second short shuttle.

Nico Johnson, ILB (6-2, 259) — Johnson ran the 40-yard dash in 4.73 and 4.77 seconds, performed a 30-inch vertical, a 9-foot-7 broad jump, a 4.75-second short shuttle run and a 7.39-second three-cone drill.

Eddie Lacy, RB (5-foot-11, 230) — He actually weighed one pound less than he did at the combine. Lacy ran the 40-yard dash in 4.64 and 4.65 seconds. He had a 33 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 4.58-second short shuttle and a 7.30-second three-cone drill. He didn’t do the broad jump and he opted out of the bench press due to suffering a partially torn right pectoral muscle in 2011.

Damion Square, DL (6-2, 299) — Square ran the 40-yard dash in 5.23 and 5.26 seconds. He did the short shuttle in 4.87 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.99 seconds.

Jessie Williams, DT (6-3, 325) — Williams didn’t work out but was weighed.
