Despite 1-11 season, Buffaloes boast NFL prospects

Representatives from 15 NFL teams gathered at the pro day held at Colorado on March 13, where eight players went through a workout held indoors on FieldTurf.
David Bakhtiari, OT (6-foot-4 1/2, 303 pounds) — Bakhtiari stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine and just did position drills. The Cincinnati Bengals had an assistant offensive line coach on hand to work Bakhtiari out.
Nick Kasa, TE (6-6, 267) — Kasa ran the short shuttle in 4.45 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.18 seconds, and then stood on the rest of his numbers from the combine. He was worked out in the positional drills by New York Giants tight end coach Michael Pope. Former Colorado QB Tyler Hansen threw the ball to Kasa in his positional workout.
Will Pericak, DL (6-3 1/2, 296) — Pericak — who was not invited to the combine — ran the 40-yard dash in 5.07 and 5.18 seconds. He had a 28 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-2 broad jump. He ran the short shuttle in 4.51 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.54 seconds. He also had 24 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. He was worked on in the positional drills by Baltimore Ravens assistant coach Juan Castillo.
Ray Polk, S (6-0 3/4, 219) — Polk — who was not invited to the combine — ran the 40 in 4.43 and 4.40 seconds. He had a 39-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-6 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.33 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.10 seconds. He performed 19 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench. An Arizona Cardinals defensive backs coach led Polk through his positional drills.
