Lamar Mady piques New York Giants’ interest at pro day

Youngstown State held its pro day on March 5 indoors on FieldTurf. Twelve NFL teams sent representatives, which included the New York Giants’ offensive line coach, to watch five Penguins participate in the event.

Lamar Mady, OL (6-1 3/4, 317) — The Giants came specifically to watch Mady work out. Mady ran the 40-yard dash in 5.31 and 5.32 seconds. He did 26 reps on the bench at 225 pounds, ran the short-shuttle in 4.97 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.61 seconds. He looked good in an extensive workout.
