Georgia Tech’s finest put on show at pro day

Georgia Tech had its pro day on Thursday. It was attended by representatives of 28 NFL teams, including the defensive backs coach from the Miami Dolphins. Five Georgia Tech players participated. The workout was held indoors on FieldTurf.

T.J. Barnes, DL (6-foot-6, 364 lbs) — Barnes worked out and did a little bit better than he did in Indianapolis. He’s got good feet, but he needs to get his weight down.

Rod Sweeting, DB (5-foot-11 1/4, 188 pounds) — Sweeting ran the short-shuttle in 4.13 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.09 seconds. Sweeting did drills at the defensive back position.
