Arizona State held its pro day Friday, opting to go on field turf in its indoor facility because of rain and lightning outside. Representatives from 14 NFL teams were present.
Brandon Magee, LB (5-11 5/8, 227 pounds) — The outside linebacker improved slightly on his 40-yard dash time from the NFL Scouting Combine, posting a best time of 4.68 seconds. Even though he didn’t run lights out, he has great instincts, which means he probably will hear his name called on draft day. He went 4.68 in the short shuttle run and 7.58 in the cone run.
Keelan Johnson, DB (6-0, 209 pounds) — The safety posted decent times in the 40 at 4.54 and 4.55 and record a 10-foot broad jump.
Josh Hubner, P (6-4, 226 pounds) — Hubner took part in the NFL Scouting Combine, but he didn’t get much of a chance to prove himself at the Sun Devils pro day since it was held indoors.
