Troy and West Alabama held a joint pro day on Monday, where some 30 players worked out for 16 NFL teams.
The highlight for Troy was linebacker Kanorris Davis, who worked out as a linebacker and a safety, and figures to be a priority free agent.
Davis (5-foot-9 3/8, 211 pounds) ran the 40 in 4.60 and 4.65 seconds, had a 37-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-1 broad jump, did the three-cone drill in 7.07 seconds and the short shuttle in 4.20 seconds, and did 21 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press.
Offensive lineman Kyle Wilborn was following up an excellent performance in January’s Raycom College Football All-Star Classic. Wilborn (6-foot-3 1/4, 296 pounds) ran the 40 in 5.36 and 5.17 seconds, had a 26 1/2-inch vertical jump and 8-foot-1 broad jump, and had 17 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press.
West Alabama linebacker Ridge Wilson (6-foot-3, 245 pounds) ran the 40 in 4.83 and 4.76 seconds, had a 31-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-2 broad jump, did the three-cone drill in 7.59 seconds and the short shuttle in 4.31 seconds, and did 25 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press.
The workout was held outdoors on FieldTurf.
