There were 32 NFL teams represented at South Carolina Pro Day on March 27. Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis was among the coaches who attended. A total of 18 players worked out on field-turf outdoors in 50 degree weather with 5 mph wind. The scouts who attended enjoyed the well-run pro day. Marcus Lattimore RB (5-11 7/8, 219 pounds) – He did not do any sprints or jumps, but he did go through workout that approved by his medical team, however, Lattimore did catch the football in a stationary position. There were 20 NFL teams represented at South Carolina State Pro Day on March 27. Nine players worked out outdoors on field-turf, as did four players from smaller schools. Jakar Hamilton DB (5-11, 192 pounds) – He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.56 and 4.58 seconds. That’s all the Georgia transfer took part in. He is a free agent priority.

There were a total of 16 NFL teams represented at Louisiana Lafayette Pro Day on March 28. A total of 14 players worked out Indoors on field-turf that was not in very good condition. There were tears and hashes all over the place. Melvin White CB (6-1 ¼, 203 pounds) – He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 and 4.62 seconds and recorded a 32-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-2 broad jump. He completed the short shuttle drill in 4.53 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.36 seconds. White also recorded 12 strength lifts. He worked out as a cornerback with a notation that his best position is probably safety.

The Indianapolis Colts were the lone NFL team represented at Indiana State Pro Day on March 27. It was held outdoors on a field that was a little damp from the snow melting. Only one player worked out. Josh Keyt LS (6-1, 247 pounds) — He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.19 seconds and recorded a 21 ½ vertical jump. That was all he did. He’ll likely be signed as a free-agent long snapper.

There were a total of 23 NFL teams represented at Louisiana Tech Pro Day on March 26. The workout was held outdoors on field-turf. A total of 24 players worked out. Ryan Allen P (6-1, 225 pounds) – He has a very, very strong leg. He kept his numbers from the combine Colby Cameron QB (6-2 ¾, 210 pounds) – He has very good accuracy through intermediate area. He doesn’t have the strongest arm, but has adequate arm strength to throw the ball. There were 32 teams represented at Florida State Pro Day on March 19. They ran outdoors and the field was damp due to prior rain. It was about 70 degrees. Tank Carradine DL (6-4 3/8, 275 pounds) — He recorded 32 bench presses, but will do another workout April 4 at Woodward High School in Cincinnati. Everett Dawkins DL (6-2 ¼, 291 pounds) — He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.00 and 5.02 seconds. He kept the rest of the combine results. Dawkins did well in positional workouts. A total of 16 players from Cincinnati worked out at pro day on March 13 along with five others from nearby schools. There were 32 NFL teams represented and the workouts were held indoors on field-turf. Travis Kelce TE (6-5, 258 pounds) — He is not going to work out. He was injured and instead will work out April 4 at Woodward High School in Cincinnati. Florida State defensive lineman Tank Carradine also will take part in that workout. Walt Stewart DL (6-5, 249 pounds) — He had to sign a waiver that would allow him to workout. He had a neck injury last year and missed the last seven games of the season. A total of 12 NFL teams were represented at Southern University Pro Day. They worked out at Doug Williams Field. There were no players there that went to the combine. A total of eight players worked out along with additional players from small schools. Charles Hawkins WR (5-7 5/8, 166 pounds) – He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 and 4.44 seconds. He recorded a 36-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-3 broad jump. He completed the short shuttle drill in 4.54 and the three-cone drill in 7.89 seconds. Hawkins also recorded 13 strength lifts.

A total of nine NFL teams were represented at Clemson Pro Day on March 7. They ran indoors on field-turf. Only one player held a workout. Andre Ellington RB (5-9 3/8, 194 pounds) — He was at the combine but pulled his hamstring there and was reluctant to run because he was afraid he might pull it again. He ran 4.71 on his first 40-yard attempt before coaches convinced him it was in his best interest to run at full speed in order to get a better look at him. He ran 4.52 on his second attempt. Representatives from 18 NFL teams were on hand for Tulane’s pro day on Friday, where six Green Wave players worked out indoors on FieldTurf in the New Orleans Saints’ practice facility.
The Saints had a number of their staff in attendance, and an assistant coach from the Jacksonville Jaguars was also there.
