Jarvis Jones’ workout will have to wait until pro day

Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones will not work out at the NFL Scouting Combine, a source close to the player told Ian Rapoport. Instead, Jones will conduct his workout for scouts at Georgia’s pro day on March 21.

Gil Brandt had indicated that Jones was given a clear bill of health. Jones suffered a neck injury during the 2009 season that sidelined the linebacker for the entire 2010 season.

Jones is the second-rated outside linebacker in Mike Mayock‘s positional rankings for the 2013 NFL Draft.
