Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III chose not to throw at the NFL Scouting Combine last year, opting instead to throw to receivers at their respective pro days. A similar situation isn’t expected to play out at this year’s combine.

With the quarterback-needy Kansas City Chiefs situated in the top spot of the draft, some NFL.com experts currently project Smith to go No. 1 overall.
West Virginia’s pro day is scheduled for March 14.
