Colin Kaepernick: I let Jim Harbaugh win first leg of throwing contest

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick certainly seems to be cut from the same cloth as his coach, Jim Harbaugh. Both men are passionate about football, vocal leaders and both have a keen sense of humor. After Harbaugh joked about having running skills similar to Kaepernick, the young QB took to the podium to answer questions about a throwing competition he had back in college during a visit with coach Harbaugh.

Kaepernick shed some light on the throwing exhibition, noting that the duo of quarterbacks engaged in throws at the goal posts and determining who had the better spiral. When it got down to finding out who emerged victorious, Kaepernick didn’t hold back.

“I let him with the first one, then I won the rest,” Kaepernick said with a smile.
