The Detroit Lions, playoff hopes all but lost, traveled to a snowy Wisconsin in week 14 to face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. Divisional pride was still on the line, and Calvin Johnson was closing in on Jerry Rice’s all-time receiving yardage record.

For the majority of the season, I have admonished fantasy enthusiasts for having too many good quarterbacks. Trade one! I often decried. They can’t score fantasy points for you from the bench.
The expression I search for right now is “hoist on my own petard.”
