NFL week 15 Horoscopes: Statement Sunday edition

Blog

NFL fans received a gift from the scheduling gods this weekend as there are six matchups with gigantic playoff implications in what has been dubbed, “Statement Sunday.” Once again we turned to the heavens to see what the future might hold for each of the 12 teams in the featured games. Here are your week 15 NFL horoscopes:

————————————————————————————————————————————–

New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons

————————————————————————————————————————————–

New York Giants – With Washington and Dallas breathing down your neck, it’s easy to see how you might lose focus with a road trip to Atlanta on the horizon. But you absolutely cannot let that happen. Another late-season collapse could spell trouble for your proud franchise. It’s imperative that you keep cool in the face of divisional pressure as you always have… your playoff hopes depend on it.

Atlanta Falcons – Another loss this weekend is not an option. After dropping a winnable game against the Carolina Panthers, your swagger is no longer respected in the NFC. You need a win, badly, and the visiting Giants will be anxious to knock you down another peg. Don’t let emotions from last season’s playoff defeat cloud your judgment. Devote that energy into a gameplan for winning this weekend, like mixing in a little more Jacquizz Rodgers.

Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens

————————————————————————————————————————————–

Denver Broncos – With the AFC West locked up, you might be prone to making a tactical error this weekend if you’re looking too far ahead. Take your time dealing with the important issue at hand in beating the Ravens and continuing their free fall from the AFC post-season race.  If you become too enamored with the big picture, you could leave out a critical detail that leads to defeat this weekend.

Baltimore Ravens – Regardless of the fact that your offense seems to be spinning out of control, you’ll be able to handle it. Ray Rice is as steady as a rock in your back field, so rely on him in these tumultuous times. A healthy dose of the running game will keep Joe Flacco out of the hands of Von Miller, and better able to lead your team to victory.

————————————————————————————————————————————–

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

————————————————————————————————————————————–

Green Bay Packers – The time is right for you to lead the charge for the NFC into the playoffs. You stumbled early on, but have found success from unlikely contributors. Your playmakers are returning, but your true self-worth must come from within. Find it within yourselves to win in Chicago, and the road to the Super Bowl could potentially run through Green Bay.

Chicago Bears – All the talk in the world will get you nowhere in this long-time rivalry. Actions speak louder than words, and it will be your actions that can leave the final word at Soldier Field. Clay Matthews returns to terrorize a wounded Jay Cutler, so don’t be afraid to show all your cards now and get creative in your approach, for there’s really no reason to keep anything hidden. A trip to the playoffs, and the fate of your franchise for the next several years could be on the line.

————————————————————————————————————————————–

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans

————————————————————————————————————————————–

Indianapolis Colts – The buzz around your team is humming right now, with Andrew Luck leading a playoff push. Don’t shy away from this as the hectic energy can be both useful and fun. The intensity will not settle down, however, so if you can figure out a way to harness this momentum while it lasts, it could pay dividends down the line. Starting with a win on the road against the Houston Texans.

Houston Texans – Due to a recent embarrassment on Monday night, your perspective might be shifting in the wrong direction. Attempting to control the changes that have been forced upon your team is not a viable option. Instead, embrace the changes, and focus on the potential for success rather than worrying about what might go wrong. Keep the offense running through Arian Foster, and with time a win over Indianapolis will be yours.

————————————————————————————————————————————–

Pittsburgh Steelers at Dallas Cowboys

————————————————————————————————————————————–

Pittsburgh Steelers – What once looked like an easy win over the ailing San Diego Chargers turned into a thorn in your side and a possible speed bump in your road to the playoffs. Focus on the present now in beating the Dallas Cowboys, and let the past become history. Figure out what has stymied your pass rush in recent weeks, and unleash James Harrison and company to fluster Tony Romo and force him into making a costly mistake.

Dallas Cowboys – Doubters continue to pile on and root against your post-season chances, but block out that noise. Breaking your tasks down into little steps enables you to rise above your struggles and achieve your goals, instead of promising too much. Dez Bryant should play, but don’t rely on him too much to carry the load. Vary your attack and feature other weapons prominently if you want to keep this post-season dream alive.

————————————————————————————————————————————–

San Francisco 49ers at New England Patriots

————————————————————————————————————————————–

San Francisco 49ers – Your quarterback controversy continues to befuddle some, but you know what’s right. Don’t ignore your heart’s desire, even if it seems totally irrational. Trust your gut instincts now because the answers you seek won’t come from logical analysis. A tough contest looms on the horizon, and Colin Kaepernick could prove to be the added element necessary in defeating the dangerous New England Patriots.

New England Patriots – You’ve shown great potential to see possibilities that were previously hidden, such as implementing elements of the spread offense, but your commitment is constantly required. A win over the Texans puts you as the favorite in the AFC. Keep your eyes open and continue focusing on the road ahead rather than looking in the rear view mirror, and letting past post-season disappointments haunt you.
