Call off the search, we’ve found Vernon Davis! And it turns out, Colin Kaepernick knew where he was the entire time. Just when we were ready to write off Davis for good, he comes out with a monster performance against the Monsters of the Midway.
And don’t kick yourself if you did, we all were sick of Davis until Monday night.
But the most interesting decision will be left to 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh. Do you stick with Kaepernick, who tore up one of the league’s best defenses, or do you go back to Alex Smith? If you ask me, Smith might have just been Drew Bledsoed. (That’s right, I’ve updated the phrase Wally Pipped with a more football-appropriate reference.) Kaepernick put in a pretty solid performance against one of the league’s best defenses. And not to mention, one of the league’s best fantasy defenses.
And speaking of that Bears defense, what was that?

No kidding, right? But Dave Dameshek warned us on Wednesday, as he has for the last couple of weeks: The Bears defense just can’t keep up the pace.
Not that it helps you now. Right now is a time for healing. You know the drill, this is one big fantasy therapy couch. You’ll feel better when you share your tales of woe. Like Robert here …

And really, if you want to talk about John Cena‘s PDA with A.J., well that counts as a Monday Nightmare as well.
