Fantasy football: Willis McGahee out 6-8 weeks

The fantasy season is over for Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee. FOX Sports Insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer reports McGahee will miss 6-8 weeks after suffering a torn MCL and a fracture in his leg during Sunday’s 30-23 win over the San Diego Chargers. NFL.com’s Albert Breer later confirmed the report. As Fantasy guru Michael Fabiano points out in his Week 12 waiver wire analysis, fantasy owners need to snatch teammate Ronnie Hillman off the wire as quick as possible. “Hillman is now the top runner on the Broncos depth chart. He won’t be a true featured back, as Lance Ball will also see some burn for coach John Fox, but Hillman is the runner to own. He’ll have flex-starter value in most leagues moving forward.”
