NFL fantasy football: Vick stat correction causes fantasy pain

Not that long ago, Adam Rank warned you all to fear the stat correction. Today, that admonition has renewed meaning with an adjustment to Michael Vick’s Week 3 stats.
What looked like a sack by Arizona Cardinals LB Daryl Washington was changed instead to a 13-yard rushing loss for Vick. That subtracted 1.3 points from Vick’s total in most NFL.com leagues. Since the Eagles quarterback was started in 72 percent of leagues, the correction had an impact. In fact, it changed the outcome of 6,239 fantasy matchups.
If you were one of those who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory whilst you slept, don’t feel alone. Our own Michael Fabiano was victimized by it as well.
