Michael Vick is on record supporting comparisons between himself and Robert Griffin III.

RG3’s Washington Redskins teammate, London Fletcher, agrees with that assessment and adds one more player to the evaluation.

“He reminds me a little of Cam (Newton) and also Michael Vick, with the athleticism and the arm strength, his talent, his skill set,” the linebacker said on “NFL AM” on Tuesday. “Cam had such great success last year, he set the bar really high. From an athletic standpoint, I think he compares to him and Michael Vick.”

Fletcher leads the NFL in tackles with 1,790 since he entered the league in 1998. In the past five seasons with the Redskins, Fletcher has racked up the tackles with his relentless motor to the ball.

The linebacker said if he had to defend a quarterback like RG3, he’d be concerned with the rookie’s mobility.

“Obviously, his ability to make plays outside of the pocket, he’s great,” Fletcher said. “He has tremendous athleticism, so with that being said, you have to be concerned with that.”
