NFL fantasy football: Calvin Johnson over Larry Fitzgerald?

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver and fantasy stud Larry Fitzgerald told ESPN’s “SportsCenter” that fantasy owners should select Detroit Lions wideout Calvin Johnson ahead of him in drafts. The main factor in Fitzgerald’s rationale is due to the fact Megatron has a better quarterback in Matthew Stafford throwing him the football.

The Pittsburgh product does have a point. Johnson has outscored him in total fantasy points in each of the past two seasons. The last time Fitz outscored Johnson was in 2009 with Kurt Warner at the helm. Still, fantasy owners can’t go wrong with drafting either player as their No. 1 receiver.
