Giants DE Justin Tuck introduced a new look on the football field with a rather intricate facemask. Which is a nice way of putting it. Seriously, the thing looks like a cow catcher, but is needed, according to Tuck, to keep opposing players from sticking their hands in his facemask and yanking.

At first blush, it’s hard to reckon whether he’s going for a Hannibal Lecter look or maybe emulate Shredder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But when you really get down to it, Tuck’s facemask is really most like Lando Calrissian’s disguise from “Return of the Jedi.”

Look at that thing; it’s spot on. At the very least, somebody looks like they will be added to next year’s edition of NFL/Star Wars connections.
