The annual Met Gala, benefiting the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, was held Monday night and drew two of the NFL’s biggest luminaries — Tom Brady and Tim Tebow. Now, I don’t want to say Brady is getting a little jealous of the attention Tebow has commanded over the last year, but then you have Tom’s hairstyle.

I don’t know what they call this hairstyle, but I’ll just call it Tintin Chic. (And if you’re not familiar with the Tintin comics, check this out.) I don’t want to believe Brady was getting ready for the Met Gala when he said to himself, “I know that brat, Tebow, is going to be there, so I’ve got to do something to show him up.”

I don’t want to believe that’s the case, but seriously, look at that hair.

Well, I guess there are some other explanations. Last September, I surmised Brady could be on the verge of losing his “Man Card” (that is, as much as a guy married to Gisele Bundchen could be in danger of losing his Man Card).

And then there’s this evolution of Brady’s hair.

The truth is, he’s probably just taunting us follicle-challenged humans and rubbing it in our face. Yeah, that seems about right.
