Browns GM: Team unanimous on first pick in NFL draft

Browns general manager Tom Heckert said Thursday the team is unanimous on the player they’ll select with the No. 4 overall pick in next week’s NFL draft, according to the Associated Press.

Heckert wouldn’t reveal the player’s identity, but based on Cleveland’s current needs, it’s safe to assume the Browns are considering Alabama running back Trent Richardson and Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon.

Heckert said the Browns, who had one of the league’s worst offenses last season, need “guys who can score points.” He described both players as “class guys.”
