Broncos might reunite Manning, WR Stokley

The Broncos remain interested in signing WR Brandon Stokley, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

It remains quite possible Denver could re-acquire Stokley, one of Peyton Manning‘s favorite receivers, pending medical tests. The Broncos will bring Stokley in for a visit and the free agent might end up back with the club, sources said.

The 35-year-old Stokley has played for five teams in his NFL career, including the Colts, where he teamed with Manning from 2003 to 2006. He also had a stint with the Broncos from 2007 to 2009.

He has 339 career receptions for 4,680 yards and 34 touchdowns. Most recently, he played in two games and caught just one pass for seven yards with the Giants in 2011.
