NFL players perform the ‘Thriller’ dance

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — There are no small roles in Hollywood, but there are some awful dancers. Not that I’m one to talk, given my dance moves (which explains why I was operating the camera, instead of being in front of it). So give credit to the NFL players who participated in the first-ever Pro Hollywood Boot Camp for giving the Thriller dance a go.

Twenty NFL players spent four days at Universal Studios learning the ins-and-outs of the movie industry. Everything from being the gaffers to the grips, the players received a crash course in producing, directing, editing, acting and yes, even dancing.

Here, Steven Jackson, D’Brickashaw Ferguson, Ahman Green, Ovie Mughelli, Jon Dorenbos, Calais Campbell and other members of the cast and crew film the finale of their film short.
