Wake Forest’s pro day was held on March 19, with representatives from 23 NFL teams present.
Here’s how some of the more notable prospects performed:
Chris Givens, WR (5-foot-11 1/4, 204 pounds) — Givens stood on his marks from the NFL Combine, but had a very good workout. He is a good route-runner and should be taken late in the second round of the NFL Draft.
Joe Looney, G (6-3 1/8, 315) — Looney couldn’t work out because of an ankle injury, but he did do 26 strength reps. He could still be a mid-round pick if he can get healthy enough to work out before the draft.
Josh Bush, S (5-11, 208) — Ran the 40-yard dash in 4.50 and 4.52 seconds, with a 33 1/2-inch vertical, a 9-foot-7-inch broad jump, 4.45-second short shuttle, 7.02-second three-cone and 18 lifts. Bush could be a seventh-round pick.
Kyle Wilber, LB (6-3 7/8, 240) — Ran the 40 in 4.70 and 4.64 seconds. Posted a 33 1/2-inch vertical, a 10-foot broad jump, 4.43-second shuttle and 7.8-second three-cone.
