The deal that DE Mark Anderson signed with the Bills on Wednesday is for four years and $27.5 million, a league source said Wednesday, and $8 million is fully guaranteed.
The team announced the signing via a news release but didn’t disclose terms.
Anderson, who had 10 sacks with the Patriots last season, visited the Bills on Wednesday after meeting with the Ravens and Dolphins. The Patriots also had been interested in re-signing Anderson.
With Anderson and recently acquired free agent Mario Williams (5), the Bills have added two players who combined for 15 sacks last season. The Bills had just 29 sacks as a team in 2011.
