Titans turn to Wimbley after being spurned by Manning

After losing out on Peyton Manning to the Broncos, the Titans have turned their focus to free-agent LB Kamerion Wimbley, according to a league source.

Wimbley is visiting the team Monday and Tennessee is very interested in adding a pass rusher; Wimbley brings just that from the linebacker position.

Free-agent DE Mark Anderson recently was in for a visit as well. The Titans have ample cap room and Wimbley is one of few impact players available. Wimbley has significant interest and other visits set up.

Oakland released him for cap purposes and he received $6.5 million from the Raiders in guaranteed money in the two sides’ parting.
