Top talent shines at Oklahoma pro day

NFL scouts came out in full force for Oklahoma’s pro day, with 30 teams taking in the workout on Wednesday. Both CB Jamell Fleming (5-foot-10 7/8, 198 pounds) and T Donald Stephenson (6-5 5/8, 314) stood on their combine marks, but strong position workouts helped each player firm up a second-round grade.
Here are some of the other participants and their marks:
Ronnell Lewis, LB (6-2, 255 pounds) — Lewis ran 4.72 and 4.85 40-yard dashes but held on to his other combine numbers. He worked as both a DL and LB, and his versatility could earn him looks in the third round.
Travis Lewis, LB (6-1 1/2, 243) — Another talented Sooners defender, Lewis posted 4.75 and 4.78 40-yard dashes, a 36-inch vertical jump, 10-foot broad jump, 4.22 short shuttle, 7.27 three-cone drill and 26 lifts. He had a good workout but didn’t elevate his draft status.
Frank Alexander, DE (6-4, 271) — Alexander had 4.80 and 4.84 40-yard dashes, a 34 1/2 vertical jump, 9-9 broad jump, 4.59 short shuttle, 7.48 three-cone drill and 24 bench reps. He has extremely long arms (35 1/2 inches) and also worked out at LB. He should be picked on the final day of the draft.
James Hanna, TE (6-4, 249) — Scouts have Hanna all over the board, but he looks to be a third-day draft pick. He ran very well on Wednesday and had a very good position workout.
Ryan Broyles, WR (5-10, 190) — Broyles did not work out, as he is still rehabbing from a knee injury that ended his season last year.
