Chiefs sign QB ex-Broncos, Browns QB Quinn

Quarterback Brady Quinn has signed a deal with the Chiefs, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Quinn has spent the last two seasons with the Broncos but has not appeared in any games.

He was drafted by the Browns in the first round of the 2007 draft and started 12 games in three years in Cleveland. He has 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions for his career.

Quinn is likely to be a backup to Chiefs QB Matt Cassel. Ricky Stanzi is the only other quarterback on the Chiefs’ roster as Kyle Orton recently signed with the Dallas Cowboys.
