Rams upgrade offensive line with ex-Packer Wells

Sam Bradford just received a valuable piece of the puzzle on his offensive line.

Center Scott Wells agreed to terms on a contract with the Rams, according to a league source.

Wells has been the starting center for the Packers since 2006 and is well-regarded by QB Aaron Rodgers. Wells earned his first Pro Bowl nod in 2011.

The Rams used Jason Brown and Tony Wragge at center last season. Neither player currently is on the roster.
