The Cardinals have let the deadline come and go and will pay QB Kevin Kolb his $7 million option bonus on Saturday, league sources said Friday.
But while the team may soon seek a restructuring of the deal, which was signed last summer, no talks about such an arrangement have yet taken place.
Cardinals general manager Rod Graves had said in February that the team would likely pick up the bonus, but the team’s ensuing chase for Peyton Manning seemed to put that in doubt.
