In terms of name recognition, the early run on pass-catchers has left just a few notable options available.
San Francisco is in play for another wideout, even after signing Randy Moss, with Brandon Lloyd, Chaz Schilens and Mario Manningham already having visited with the 49ers.
Schilens also has drawn interest from the Cardinals and is visiting the Jets on Friday, according to league sources. The Patriots have significant interest in Lloyd and are bringing in former Colt Anthony Gonzalez for a physical as well, sources said.
Sources said the Dolphins also are interested in Manningham. The Bills, after losing out to the Chargers for the services of Robert Meachem, still could be seeking receiving help.
Eddie Royal, who made a visit to Washington, is in San Diego on Friday, sources said. Several other teams have interest in Royal. Washington, even after signing Pierre Garcon and Josh Morgan, still is mulling receiving options.
