Brandon Lloyd will visit the 49ers, according to a league source, and another free-agent WR, Chaz Schilens, already is visiting with the team.
San Francisco selected Lloyd in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft, but he was dealt to Washington after a tumultuous three-year stint during which he registered 105 catches for 1,510 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Lloyd has matured and changed his attitude since then. Last season, he had 70 catches for 966 yards and five touchdowns in four games with the Broncos and 11 with the Rams. In 2010, he had his only 1,000-yard season, with the Broncos, and made the Pro Bowl.
Schilens has spent all four years of his career with the Raiders, totaling 902 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. There is a good chance Schilens will head to New York for a visit with the Jets, who also continue to inquire about available receivers. The Jets previously expressed interest in Laurent Robinson.
