McClain agrees to three-year deal with Chargers

Free-agent FB Le’Ron McClain has agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the Chargers, according to a league source.

McClain spent last season with the Chiefs and the previous four with the Ravens, who took him with a fourth-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. McClain would help fill the void left by FB Mike Tolbert, who likely won’t return to the Chargers, according to a league source.

McClain Tweeted his reaction on Wednesday: “Man I’m so excited to be a #Charger Can’t wait to get to work #sweaterindawest.”
