Jets among teams interested in Landry

Several teams are interested in former Redskins safety LaRon Landry, according to league sources.
The market for safeties – much like that of offensive linemen and linebackers — didn’t have much immediate movement on the first day of free agency. But there are some attractive names on the market.
Sources said Landry, the sixth overall pick by the Redskins in 2007, won’t be going back to Washington. But the Jets and coach Rex Ryan, who coached LaRon’s brother, Dawan, in Baltimore, have interest.
Other teams in the market for safety help include the Eagles, Lions and Patriots.
