Jaguars, Henne agree to two-year deal

Chad Henne has agreed to a two-year deal to join the Jaguars, according to a league source.
Landing in Jacksonville could give Henne the opportunity to reclaim his status as an NFL starter if Blaine Gabbert struggles in his second season. The Jaguars have a new coach, Mike Mularkey, who wasn’t a part of the organization when Gabbert was drafted. It’s time for Gabbert to step up.
Henne’s signing will have a ripple effect on the free-agent market for quarterbacks. He won’t make his scheduled visit to Seattle, where free-agent QB Matt Flynn is headed Thursday.
