Don’t rule out Dolphins as destination for Flynn

I’m not entirely ruling out the Dolphins when it comes to signing free-agent QB Matt Flynn.

The ownership in Miami is dead-set on Peyton Manning, but I have to believe head coach Joe Philbin would be comfortable with Flynn in the starting role, especially if the price is right. The Dolphins have to get a quarterback somewhere.

The only visit set up for Flynn right now is with the Seahawks, who will talk with former Dolphins starter Chad Henne first.

Teams are slow-playing the market on Flynn while the Manning sweepstakes plays out, but it could come down to Miami and Seattle.
