Michigan State held its pro day on Wednesday and 26 teams watched 11 players work out indoors on field turf.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin traveled to Michigan for the day, as did the quarterbacks coaches for the Vikings, Seahawks and Browns.

Edwin Baker, RB (5-foot-8, 203 pounds) — Ran 4.41- and 4.39-second 40-yard dashes, had a 7.23-second three-cone shuttle and 9-foot-11 broad jump. Did position drills.

Kirk Cousins, QB (6-2 1/2, 214) — Scripted his own workout and threw for about 25 minutes. He was very accurate in short and intermediate routes but missed a couple of long throws. Scouts said he worked out real well — was what you expected. Right now he ranks as the fifth-best quarterback in the draft. I would say if Minnesota, Seattle and Cleveland had their QB coaches there, they would think of him in the second round.

B.J. Cunningham, WR (6-1 1/8, 216) — Had a 4.28 short shuttle, and a 7.13 cone drill. Did position drills.

Keshawn Martin, WR (5-11 1/8, 194) — Did position drills, showing good quickness and good feet.

Trent Robinson, FS (5-9 7/8, 193) — He ran 4.42 and 4.43 in the 40. He had a 4.28 short shuttle and 7.08 cone drill. He looked good in position drills, showing really good feet. There’s some question if he can be a cornerback in the NFL. He came to college as a corner and was moved to safety.

Jerel Worthy, DT (6-2 3/8, 303) — Ran 5.03 and 5.06 in the 40, and had 28 strength lifts. He’s a guy who’s got a lot of ability, but there’s a question of maturity and a question of motivation. He’s down right at the No. 27-50 pick range.

Garrett Celek, TE (6-4 3/8, 250) — He’s Eagles TE Brent Celek‘s brother. Ran 4.69 and 4.72 in the 40, had a 34-inch vertical jump, 9-11 broad jump, 4.39 short shuttle, 7.23 cone drill with 19 strength lifts. He surprised everyone and is a lot more athletic than people originally thought. He’s a third-day selection.
