Bucs agree to deal with CB Wright

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and cornerback Eric Wright have agreed to terms on a five-year, $37.5 million deal with $15.5 million guaranteed, according to a league source.

Wright, wide receiver Vincent Jackson and guard Carl Nicks were Tampa’s top three targets in free agency this year, and now they’re 3-for-3, with Jackson agreeing a five-year deal Tuesday and now Nicks and Wright following suit Wednesday.

Wright played in Detroit last year after spending his first four NFL seasons in Cleveland. He tied his career high with four interceptions in 2011.
