Rams fully intend to trade No. 2 pick in draft

It has been the NFL’s worst-kept secret that the Rams have been shopping the No. 2 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. If there was ever any doubt about the team’s motives, it should be long gone.
Sources have told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora the Rams have every intention of trading the pick.
“They are completely and fully motivated to move that pick,” La Canfora told “NFL Total Access” on Monday. “Everyone in the league has known it’s up for bid. The trade that makes the most sense for them, they will consummate.
“We know that (Robert) Griffin III will be that pick. It’s just a matter of who trades up for it.”
It makes complete sense that the Rams, with Sam Bradford on board and plenty of other holes to fill, would move the pick to one of a handful of teams who are reported to have interest. The only thing that remains to be seen is which of the usual suspects thus far — the Browns, Dolphins, Redskins, Seahawks — pull the trigger.
