Where art thou, Romeo? Right here in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS — In more innocent times, many of the NFL prospects here at Lucas Oil Stadium spent Saturday mornings watching mind-numbing cartoons and avoiding general human responsibility.
On this Saturday morning, those same young men will battle for position in what amounts to the biggest job interview of their lives here at the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine.
One coach watching closely is Kansas City’s Romeo Crennel, who will take a few minutes to speak to reporters this afternoon about his thoughts on how to return the Chiefs to glory. He’ll be joined in the press room by a flurry of the nation’s top linebackers and defensive lineman.
Following a busy Friday that included a heavy list of league luminaries — John Elway, Tom Coughlin and Jeff Fisher — and more than a few of tomorrow’s “entertainers and icons” — Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III — Saturday’s lineup is as follows:
10 a.m.: Giants senior VP/GM Jerry Reese
10:15 a.m.: Falcons coach Mike Smith
11 a.m.: NFL Network’s Brian Billick
12:30 p.m.: NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi
3 p.m.: Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel
In addition, special-teamers, offensive linemen and tight ends will work out. Best way to keep on top of it? NFL.com’s live chat from down on the field.
