Baylor moves Pro Day to March 21

Up until Monday, the consensus top two QBs available in the 2012 NFL Draft — Baylor’s Robert Griffin III and Andrew Luck of Standford — were scheduled to take part in their school’s Pro Day workouts on the exact same day.

But Baylor has moved its Pro Day up one day — it will now take place on March 21 — to avoid any conflict with Stanford.

The change removes any conflict for NFL scouts and talent evaluators, as well as media, to attend what had been simultaneous events.  Officials at Baylor have not officially announced why the date was moved.

UPDATE: On Tuesday night, a Baylor spokesman explained the move via text message: “Moving to 21st better benefited our athletes.”
