INDIANAPOLIS — I’ve seen a lot of Cleveland Browns fans walking around Indy this week. It’s not just an overwhelming amount of Patriots, Giants and Colts fans.
Seeing the wide range of jerseys walking around town surprised me. When I went to Tampa, Fla., for the Steelers-Cardinals Super Bowl, it was pretty much all Steelers and Cardinals fans. It was all or nothing.
Here there are a lot of varieties. It’s really like an NFL melting pot. I took a pic of a family Friday and the boy was wearing Chad Ochocinco‘s Bengals jersey — but from when he was Chad Johnson. The girl had a Colts jersey.
The reason Indy’s a melting pot is because it’s so close to other NFL cities. Chicago, Cleveland and Cincinnati aren’t too far away.
