INDIANAPOLIS — I personally like outdoor Super Bowls.

When games are played in the winter, I think they should be played outside where it’s cold. That’s how the game of football was always supposed to be played.

I want them to open the roof on Sunday — put weather into Super Bowl XLVI.

Weather changes the game completely. Some people don’t know how to play in that kind of element. Everybody practices outside, and everyone plays outside when they first start participating in football as youngsters. It isn’t until we get older that we get domes and other ways to protect us from the weather.

NFL: have Tom Brady and Eli Manning play in the cold.
