INDIANAPOLIS — This is the second Super Bowl I’ve attended, and I gotta say Indianapolis is putting on a good show. This is definitely topping last year’s Super Bowl in Dallas. The best part about Indy so far? There’s no snow. We see snow a lot in Buffalo, N.Y.
The first thing I did when I got off the plane Thursday was head over to the SportsNation set. We talked about Super Bowl XLVI between the Patriots and Giants, of course. Then I went on ESPN’s “NFL 32.” It was great meeting Steve Young, and some of the other guys.
It’s been a great experience so far. It’s great just talking to the guys around town as an established player, and having people talking to me like they know who I am.
I’m currently delivering this post live from the EA Sports Madden Bowl XVII at Bud Light Hotel. I’m a pretty big gamer — my teams typically are the Bills, Lions or 49ers. Some of the guys I’ve seen at the party include Arian Foster, Warren Sapp and Jimmy Graham.
Right now a DJ is blasting a mix of hip-hop and techno, but I think Snoop Dogg will be performing later. I’ve never seen him live before.
