Jacobs wants to run off, not walk off, a winner

INDIANAPOLIS — Giants RB Brandon Jacobs has fantasized about one specific ending to one of his games. Now he’d love nothing more than his dream to come true during the final seconds of Sunday’s Super Bowl.
“We’re down four points, there’s 20 seconds left on the clock, and we run a draw,” Jacobs said. “I don’t know why we’d do that, but we run a draw, and I break it for an 80-yard touchdown. And I run straight into the locker room to celebrate.”
OK, so maybe the Giants wouldn’t be wise to run the ball if they have only one shot at a touchdown with 20 seconds and 80 yards to go. But hey, a man can dream, can’t he?
