Morris waits to learn fate in Tampa Bay

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora and Michael Lombardi are stationed in the NFL Media newsroom Monday as they track all the coach, front-office and player movement following the final day of the regular season. Watch NFL Network and check back with this blog for the latest.

La Canfora reports that Morris hasn’t been given any formal word on his future with the Buccaneers coming off a 4-12 season that included a 10-game losing streak at the end.¬†Morris is under review, with many expecting sweeping changes on the coaching staff.

Morris has one year remaining on his contract, and Lombardi believes the team will move quickly one way or the other.

“The reality is that the Glazer family has really one decision to make,” Lombardi said. “Either we extend Raheem Morris or we’re going to have to let him go. Because to be a lame duck is just never going to work.”
